I was tooling around after a business meeting last week and decided to stop by the only local biodiesel dealer in my area. I was filling up at half a tank to lesson the blow on the wallet and I had the option of either Bio or Dino. I decided to take the plunge since I've been kicking it around for the 6 months I've owned the truck. According to the dealer it's B5 in the winter and B20 in the summer. They aren't too far of the way to/from work, so I plan on sticking with it.

This has been a great group to learn form so I felt like passing that along.

Happy Easter to you also; let's hope that biodiesel catches on in a big way; I absolutely love it; other than some who claim that there is a slight loss in power, I can see nothing but positives for it.

 

haha i havnt noticed any loss in power... but i also run diesel kleen

 

Change your fuel filter after every two tanks or so because the biodiesel cleans out everything and can end up plugging the injectors or plugging the filter leaving you stranded.
