Well I thought I needed them after the tire shop I bought tires from said I needed them before they would do the allignment. I took the truck into get the tires rotated and alligned, the allignment was suppose to be free for the life of the tires but they told me this before they would do it. So I go out and buy new ball joints to fix over the weekend and it turns out when I checked the them they are not bad.
jmac7- My 04 screw did the exact same thing at 56k. In fact, I pointed out a tapping sound from the engine and they told me today that they are having to replace both cylinder heads. This after they rebuilt the tranny last week. I don't tow anything. I use Royal Purple 5-20 and religiously keep up on maintenance. Go figure. Thank God I have the ESP warranty. If I didn't, me and Ford would be going to court.
