rocker upgrade 1 72 ???

What everyone talking about putting 1.72 rockers in there truck? I have 94 302 Mass air wondering what the advantage of the 1.72 is and where to get and how hard to install? Thanks

The stock rockers in these motors are 1.6:1 ratio, so they multiply the cam lobe lift by that ratio. 1.7 ratio rockers will provide more lift than stock, and that lets more air into and out of the motor, which makes more power.

Installation involves removing the upper intake and valve covers, and then replacing the rockers. You will also have to remove the baffles inside the stock covers.

All stock Ford windsor motors use pedistal mount rockers, and they are available on Ebay and at any of the online performance parts stores like Summit or Jegs.
