AOD Rebuild question
I was wondering if anyone has an idea about the 3-4 accumulator piston. My AOD seems to have the piston and cap assembly without the large spring in between them. I have been told that some transmissions left the factory without the spring. How would it work if it didn't have a spring?

Sites that talk about, sell parts and trans for AOD. I think there was a change in the trans with respect to the parts you are talking about. You can't just leave something out.....
