Anyone Considering making their own BIODiesel?

I work with a guy who has the 7.x Ford Diesel, I have a 2008 and he swears he is making diesel for $0.90 a gallon. He spent $800 in equipment and has offered to teach me how to do it. Before I spend the money and the time I was wondering if anyone here is/has done it and what the pros and cons are (Other than $0.90 per gal).

Thanks.

That is correct. No more than B5 diesel in the 6.4. It has to do with emmisions problems with the DPF, cloggs it up to fast.

OK, Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, and it turns out not to be. Appreciate the input.

Thats why you remove the DPF, and get a DPF delete tune. I think theres hope for the 6.4's to run on WAY more than 5%....
