Balance

Hey All, I'm looking to get my 400 balanced... What do I need to take to the shop? I thought you only needed to take the rotating assembly (Pistons, rods, crank, flywheel, harmonic balancer), but the shop said they needed the whole engine....

They should only need the rotating assembly. When I had mine balanced they happened to have the bare block & heads as well but they sure didn't need anything but the parts you mentioned. I'd call and ask why they need it.
