tie rod, brake problem ?
2000 4x4 Ranger, 80k miles. when I put on the brakes at slow speeds theres a slight clunk noise on the passenger side and then it pulls slightly to the right. Is this a brake problem and would the tie rods have anything to do with it. I've been told the drivers side upper tie rod is worn and should be replaced. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Is the tie rod end or the upper ball joint that is worn? A worn ball joint could give you the clunk. A worn tie rod end could produce the pulling. If either one is worn, it should be replaced. What happens with a firm brake application at high speeds?
