Thanks for all the responses.
fiveohpoepoe - Do you know the back spacing on your rims. I'm guessing they are American Racing Baja .. They look like the ones on my Explorer which have a 3.75 back spacing. They sure look great on your Expedition. I'm guessing thats what I'll be going with. (the TT and spacer) along with a 3 inch Body Lift. Hopefully tuck some 35's under it.
A little more info on the coil spacer install would be great, as I figure the TT should be pretty self explanitory.

Daystar spring spacers in the rear. You have to get the spacers on top of the spring.
Backspacing is 4 1/2.Here is the link from ebay. This is the second set Ive bought from this seller, always comes through great. Thanks for the compliments

yeah you just dont go tearing around corners is all you gotta do like five said. People have been driving lifted trucks for generations now and you just gotta be mindful of what you are driving and just learn through smaller, easy steps the way your vehicle handles with the new ride height without just going crazy and like he said try to out corner a sports car. Heck the CHP (California Highway Patrol) out here drive lifted Expeditions if Im not mistaken (dont quote me but they look like they are higher than a normal expy even with the Mud/snow terrain tires) because of the snow and mountain area here and they have to drive it crazier than a normal person does for the job they do and such so its not like normal day to day for you will make your expy roll, flip and fly.

I'm with you Trailblazin...I totally agree on getting used to a new ride height and corners. My 1st gen Explorer has a similar kind of set up I am looking at for my Expedition. (3 inch BL and rear shackles and front F150 coil seats.) The ride definatley changes. So I know what to expect luckily. But thanks for the advice. Cuz you know the next post will be someone asking about the difference in handling after a lift...
