RPM and Edge question

OKay I installed my edge programmer on my 2004 f-150 5.4 last night. At first I made some adjustments in the custom tune, but when I started the engine my RPM idle was about a grand more than usual. So I went back to the edge settings and now the rpms at idle are still about a grand to high for me (2200). Is this normal or what can I do? Thanks

No, your idle should be 600-1000rpms once the motor is warmed up. Even cold, I wouldn't think it should be over 1500rpms.

Any CELs? I would expect that either you IAC is stuck or you have a vacuum leak. The IAC may not set off a code, but the vacuum leak should. I'd check for the vacuum leak and pull the IAC and clean it.
