trails, mud, any more details? might be up for a weekend run

 

It is an old coal mining area intermixed with timber, with a creek running through it. Lots of trails, mud is plentiful, but avoidable if it's not your thing, hillclimbs, lots of interesting climbs/erosion ruts in the shale piles. Parts stores north and south of wheeling area. We have a couple of rockcrawling areas, but being as it is Iowa, we have to mostly have rocks hauled in- we have a club meeting tomorrow and I am going to try to get some movement for getting some more rocks brought in before Memorial weekend. If you go to the MIOBI website, there is a link that will take you to some Youtube vids of wheeling in the area.

You are on the 66-77 forums arent you?? Be nice to have some EB's running the trails again. If I am not mistaken, someone mentioned our area over there too.

 

yep I wheel an EB- coilovers front and rear, 4 linked. I will go over there and check it out some more. Not a bad drive for us here. I will check over there too as there are some others that might be interested in the WI/IA area.
