Code P0455
Im still srugling with problems with my Ranger. The most recent problem is code P0455 I have researched this problem extensivley and think I have found the culprit. On the purge canister behind the rear axle the metal tubes that come out of the canister wouble around a fair bit, I had originaly thought that it was the plastic quick connect fittings that were lose but its the metal tube its self that the fittings connect to that are wobbling. Is this normal or am I just smoking crack.
P.S Can this code cause idle problems and the EGR vavle to not function (Code P0401).

I found the problem I replaced the water temp sensor it cost me $23 and with a little research i found that the emmision system will not turn on untill the water temp has reached a certan temp and my sensor had failed always reading -50F. I had brought it to a ford dealership I had paid them $200 to diagnos and they tried to sell me a new computer, bull****. The tech failed to over look every aspect that controls the emmisions sytem, even worsh he had been working there for 15 years and specialized in that area, dont trust any one.
