coolent leak on 93 lightning

Just bought this truck last week from a old man, everything bone stock, 49000 original miles. got home today and noticed coolant dripping from where oil plug is. got a mirror and saw coolant pooled up behind motor on top of bell housing
any suggestions or is it a head gasket. Does coolant flow thru intake at all?
thanks chris

Check the EGR coolant line that goes from the lower intake into the EGR spacer. There is another line that goes from the spacer to the radiator filler neck......check/replace those lines first.

And yes, coolant does flow through the lower intake on those rigs. If the EGR lines are good, I'd go there next. You can also do a leakdown test to see if the head gaskets have failed.

thanks for info, any easier way to see behind motor besides mirror on extension and flashlight. Obviously taking upper intake off is easier but want ot diagnose before taking off. If I take drivers side wheelwell plastic and tire off can I see better up there?

Thnks

looks like it was hose from lower intake into egr, brittle tiny pinhole, pain to get off, should i replace the fitting on top of lower intake or just leave it alone

thanks

If it's layered with heavy rust or heavy corrosion (I don't remember what material the stock piece is made of), I'd say it's probably fine.
