All I can see Lenny is it looks like you were just looking for a fight.

It's laughable that you put your opinion on legal matters above those of a veteran lawmaker, I don't care what you think of his politics.

i came late to this Bruce....i was at my moms.. sicker than 3 dogs when most of this transpired and was posted about.
as to legal...my 20 yrs of either executive member or committee member of my local of AFoL-CIA on legal committees and NYS steering units of the union made me study law and research before i just shoot out an opinion link. i'm not saying i could pass the bar but i do know the basics and have made a ton of contacts in NY enforcement, prosecution, judicial....
you're in Nevada, i'm in NY and Ron Paul wouldn't know Andrew Cuomo from Alan Hevesi, Joe Bruno from Carl McCall, Geo. Pataki from Sheldon Silver.
And i will match NY st law straight up with RP any day as long as i have time to prepare. he may be a "veteran lawmaker" but in my book that makes him easy.

last, but not least, you called a member names. that always tourqes me. i have never called a member a name. i'll point out wrongs but i've never called you a name like "idiot"....i challange you to find anytime i've called anyone a derogatory name in debate EVER.

Actually, I'm glad you are not! About 97.5% of the population would be in jail for being "COMMIES!'' Which is fine, except that then you would have to compromise yourself and raise taxes!!!

Sorry you were sick!

And so, the doby is kicked in the behind as the rich owner puts it outside and locks the door...

Law-makers are notorious for NOT UNDERSTANDING the laws they make nor the ramifications of their laws. If you had ever worked with the laws, its case-law requirements or other statutes, your ignorance wouldn't be so obvious.

Its mind over matter, I don't mind and you don't matter. Get off your computer and get out in the real world for a change and don't depend on others to enforce the laws.

Later...

P.S. Oh yeah, I forgot, liberals don't think that Socialism is Communism. Kind of like Red vs. White in the early Twentieth Century. [Look it up...]

Spitz's is gone, and our new Gov already aired his dirty laundry. Which did not surprise me of any politico.. Everyone is "Doing" someone once they get into office.

The one part about Spitz's ability I did like was giving Bruno and Silver a kick in the rear end. Those two clowns are a disgrace, and part of the reason not much gets done for the people...as both of them are to busy kissing butts of special interests and future donors to their getting re-elected.

What amazes me to no end? The amount of people that always say they are all "dirty" and need to be replaced---and the same ones that are that 'dirty'? Always manage to get re-elected over and over. Basically the ones screaming about how bad the system is? Either they do not vote---or can't find anyone to bring forth to give us better options.

Besides...even with these "upstate" plans everyone is talking about? Does anyone really think it's going to happen full force? Or will the NYC area once again suck the blood from the upstate areas as in the past.

He can be an idiot at times.

For instance:

(Ron Paul)

"For government to entice a citizen to break a law with a sting operation-that is, by engaging in activities that a private citizen is prohibited by law from doing is unconscionable and should clearly be illegal"

(End Quote)

What the hell is he talking about, and who is the private citizen enticed into breaking a law, and what in the hell does this have to do with Spitzer?

No, they didn't. Wiretaps aren't illegal. They may **** you off, but they aren't illegal.

Poetic justice is too nice a term. The guy spent the last 10, 15 years as the great crusader of justice, the bane of the corporate bigwigs, and the paladin of 'the people'.....And he sent purveyors of poon-tang to jail while at the same time sampling the same wares......for the last 10 years!.....and with taxpayer money!

There's probably a special place in Hell for Spitzer.....And that arrogant smirk on his egg-sucking face while he made his "I was caught" speech said volumes.

Yes, he did (one).....No he was not (two)......

He's 'important' only in that he was the high profile attorney general of New York, and the current governor of New York......It's got nothing to do with 'being caught by illegal means when you had utilized illegal means to catch others earlier in your career"........

I'll answer that question. He spent a little of his own money and a lot of the taxpayer's money......But the astounding thing here is that by your standards, so long as a politician is spending his or her OWN money, you can pretty much do what you please (no matter how illegal or how hypocritical) as long as you're not using the taxpayers money!

No...What you said was that they were 'illegal'........You didn't say that they were outside of legal 'requirement'....(whatever in the hell THAT means)....

Let's be honest here, Bruce.....You started the name-calling.....and yet, as always, you weren't called on it by FTE officialdom......You're the official 'baiter' here sometimes, and that stuff is tolerated.

Now......I don't mind it directed at me (which it has been in the past)....But PLEASE....Don't belittle your position as official 'winked-at, and encouraged, FTE baiter' (i.e......Calling people 'son').....by putting on angel wings and talking about guys going off on 'poor, little old' you because of some perception of you defending Spitzer!

p.s. This is the NEW YORK chapter......Not Club FTE.....Show a little respect!
