It cranks fine, It acts like its not getting gas, but I do hear the fuel pump, and when the weather is over say 35 degrees it starts fine. It is the big 8 cylinder, the last time it would,nt start i got code p0153 which is why I changed the dfpe sensor. I would appreciate any help.

Thank You

Have you ever changed the fuel filter? Here in Montana the symptoms you describe usually mean water in the gas & frozen fuel line. You might also add some heet or similar product to the fuel tank.

That is exactly what I thought, But after talking to a few people and explaining the code I got they all said it was the EGR valve.

I now have the tool to change the fuel filter so i will be doint that

the egr valve would not keep your truck from starting. you can try the fuel dry but i don't think that will fix it because if you had water in the line it would run like crap no mater the temp. when it will not start you need to find out what system is failing. spark or fuel. pull a plug wire off and put a spark plug in it and ground out the spark plug on something metal (not painted). or you can spary starting fluid in it and see if it will start. just because you haer the fuel pump does not mean it is pumping. you can get a fuel press. guage from advanced auto for $20. put it on when it won't start. find out what system is not working then post back and i will get you to the next step.
