I have a set of manifolds I took off my 04' 6.8l last fall when I put my headers on. (Manifolds are stainless) They have 27k on them and are non-egr manifolds, but they can be drilled/tapped for egr. They are straight and in great shape.PM me if your interested.

New manifolds are going to cost big $$$. A set of headers are cheaper.

You could try a Ford dealer who is a sponsor of this site to see what kind of a deal you can get. dfk is right. You are looking at about $1500 or more for new ones for the pair.

Wow...just did a search at a dealership website and this is what they are going for.

Manifold Left - 6.8 liter - 6.8 liter 00-04
MSRP: $1,048.68
Your Price: $755.05

Manifold Right - 6.8 liter - 6.8 liter 00-04
MSRP: $594.50
Your Price: $428.04

Hey...they don't call them "stealership" for nothing! Especially since the 5.4L is only about $104 and $98 each. The PSD are also in that price range about $117-$150.

It makes no sense that the driver side manifold is so much more expensive than the passenger side. Both manifolds are almost identical except for the boss on the drivers side manifold for the EGR.

Stealership is right.

The V10 uses stainless manifolds. Maybe the 5.4l and diesels use cast iron manifolds? That would explain the major price difference.

That's why I sold my used manifolds on eBay for $400 - even had a best-offer on them, and whoever it was just snatched them up without haggling. Which means they are hard to find, and expensive.

Of course, they only had about 27K miles on them at the time.

And yeah, they were stainless - my 4.6L's all have cast-iron manifolds. Maybe the length makes them need to use stainless ...

I read in here that 2005 manifolds wil not fir a 2000. Will the 2004 manifolds fit a 2000?

Our local dealership quoted the left side manifold at $1,048.68 and the Right side manifold at $594.50

Biz4two. What dealership did you check?

The 2005 is the 3-valve motor, which uses different exhaust manifolds that will not fit the 2-valve (or at least, won't fit in the 2-valve chassis).

If you do not have an EGR, all the manifolds from 2000 through 2004 are the same. If you have an EGR (and I don't think you will, unless it's a '99), the hole needs to be tapped out.

The '99's were different manifolds.
