2001 Expedition XLT bought new with 8 miles on the odometer. I have 410,388. It's showing signs of failing though: Pedal assist quit in January and I disabled it. Replaced the rear air bags with struts, odometer blacks out most of the time now. Very pleased with this vehicle and would buy another one.

^^^ I guess all good things eventually come to an end?
Very impressive to-date though. These things are beastly (in terms of durability)

Moving on to the next owner. Just enough things wrong with it to justify moving on to a newer vehicle.
Left them just enough fuel to load it on the trailer. Straight to the auction blocks with this one!

Somewhat bittersweet, Iíll admit. It did everything I ever asked, but cost me a ton in repairs doing it.

Starting on the next one today

76k... not even fully broken in. What are the details?
Looks in very nice shape ... and that "extra length" will probably come in handy a few times.
Good luck.

Not much for details to mention, to be honest.

It’s a disturbingly clean 2014 XLT EL. Which is unfortunate, because now I own it .

Basic XLT with power moon roof being the only optional equipment shown.

So so far I’m liking the way it is programmed vs the 2006. The Electric throttle is sooooo much better and the 6r80 is a real joy to drive with the 5.4.

Pretty sure it’s never pulled anything, but that’s going to change. Taking a pop up camper to the hills this weekend , and there will be many trips with the TT and hauling hay to come. Poor thing won’t know what hit it

with 3 kids the extra room will be really handy.

The old one never let me down so I’m hoping for the same with this one, but with less repairs would be ok.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, I got into an accident today, and my Navigator is now at the insurance company awaiting assessment, just turned over 270,000 kms on Monday, and then someone decided they needed to stop and I couldnít avoid them in time.

Currently looking at a 2012 F-150 ecoboost, max tow, should handle the camper better!

Hopefully you are OK(?)
sounds like your guess for the Navigator is about like mine would be... at that age and mileage - it could be "done".
Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Luckily, Iím fine, the collision happened at about 25-30 km/h, and the drivers bag didnít even go off. Hope the insurance company treats me okay this time around, I didnít make out so well with my 1998 expedition back in 2017.

Yeah, they seem to specialize more towards making money vs treating customers well Good luck!
We had a go-around a few years back when our son got hit in the Taurus wagon... car was 18 years old - and they kept telling me that I should have had "collision coverage" on it to have things covered better ($1k deductible). Really???

Well, I will be here to lurk and maybe answer some questions, but I will be moving onto the F150 forums, pulled the plug and bought a 2012 f150 max tow, ecoboost, definitely a change from the Navigator, but so far, better mpg towing the camper!

Nice truck! Next door neighbor has that year and package, but with the full size rear doors - they love it! Do some searches on the early 3.5 EB, especially from Ford Master Tech Makuloko - just so you know some things to watch for. I'd suggest a catch can on the PCV as soon as you can...
