I'll second that -- we really like the air suspension and feel it has been worth it to keep it operating. I went to Arnotts for the rear bags and got the Monroe air shock fronts and matching standard shock rears off Amazon. The Arnott bags are lifetime warranty, btw...

I rebuilt my 4R75W myself...wasn't that difficult, and I found all the problems inside when I took it apart. It was pretty obvious...

Thank you Mark....I am having a blast driving it and fortunately it was well maintained by the previous (original) owner. I intend to do the same. Am very grateful for this forum and all the info available.

"mine" actually belonged to our company (bought new).... it was assigned to me at about 40k miles and then I got something different when it was sold at 173k (I had it for just about 10 years). It was always garage kept and well maintained, still looked and ran great, a tremendous vehicle.
Good luck with yours, that is just barely broken in at those miles
Definitely a LOT of super help & info on the FTE forum

My 2006 Navigator 269,000 kms, no major repairs, just swapped the problematic air suspension for coil springs all around. Basic maintenance and it runs like a top, and tows my trailer pretty well.

Mark,
I have to chuckle because when I have sold any vehicle I owned, I always give a little "lecture" if you will, on how it was maintained...what wax, how often it was washed, etc. I always offer all the receipts with the mechanical work that was done and then hope I never see the vehicle again just in case they let it go to hell. I know I shouldn't give a rat's patoot but....
