97,000 on my 98, other than normal stuff (rear wiper motor, ball joints blend door, brakes) mine runs runs great with (ahem) one or two modifications and nothing other than routine maintanance.

See signature for info....biggest issue was LLS, otherwise has been pretty good. Since it's a 3rd car, just for utility purposes.

Mine has 225,650 and no big problems but there is a user on here who has over 400k on his but I can't remember who and I see he hasn't chimed in. To me high mileage isn't until around 300k and I'm always amazed at how many people are shocked that mine is at 225K.

121K on my 98 4.6. Towed a pop-up camper for 5 yrs. Just started towing a 27 Travel Trailer (5k #). The usual spark problems, changed ball joints, pittman arm, etc. Nothing over the top yet (knock on wood!)

Got rid of my '03 Crown Vic because I needed 4WD. I replaced it with an '04 Expy SSV with about 95k on it.

Wink

99 Expy 105,000 miles

...that had right side exhaust manifold gasket replaced at about 70k, new emergency brake cable (disintegrated somehow) at the same time.

otherwise just the basics...tires brakes oil, etc. I've had no CEL's as of yet.
Hit a deer about 4k miles ago, cracked the chrome trim around the headlight.

'04 Expy XLT 4X2, 4.6L. Just rolled 50K. At 800 miles the dealer had to repair the limited slip doo hicky as it was vibrating real bad. Rear a/c worked on twice under warranty and the drivers side front window squeals like hell after it has rained. It's been worked on 4 times.

This is the best hwy cruiser I've ever owned but it's all truck in town.

I've got 148,000 on a 99' 4.6L mostly around town type miles. Tranny is starting to give up the ghost though. It'll take min $2200/max $3400 depending on what warranty/location. Driver's window motor needs repacement now also. Other than this, it's been a very low repair cost vehicle. That's why I went and brought an 08'!

1999 4.6 4x4 XLT. 156000. I have had to replace the rear wiper motor once, and it just went bad again. The tranfer case lock up in 4wd once. It was a $10 internal part. I had to replace the radiator due to external damage not of the trucks doing. Replaced the alternator at 153000. Other than that it has been routine maintance. It has been a great truck. I will be painting it shortly becuase we will have it for some time to come.

A buddy of mine had a 1998 5.4 4x4 EB that he traded last year at 388000 miles. He replaced the rear axle twice, and had the tranfer case resealed due to a leak. Other that that it was routine maintance. 75% of the time he had a 20' box trailer attached to it.

To many to list

Yeah I noticed the tighter turn radius too. I would guess that's due to the 2wd mode. My Explorer didn't have 2wd only.
