i was pulling out a 10k ele gen trailer out of the mud. i was pullingin R and the fwd tired didn nothing. i could feel the rear spin but the fwd wheels never did. is there a reason for this? in d/2/1 i can feel the truck pulling but in R nothing. just wanted to know if there was somthing i should know about the auto 4x4.(i have warn hubs so no auto lock and i hear the xfer case lock in) please help a 4x4 truck with no 4wd sucks

 

If you pulled the trailer out they were working. There is so much weight on the front and pulling from the front puts that much more weight on the wheels. If it was in 4x4 going forward then it was in 4x4 in R also.

 

so the rear tires will spin when the fwd ones don't
