Basically what you're looking for is an adapter which would mate a "small block" to a "big block". IOW an adapter that will mate any 302/351W/351C to a 351M/400/429/460 tranny. I've never seen one advertised so I don't know if this will make it any easier to find but if you do end up making some calls at least they'll have a better idea what you're looking for.

Er...sorry...IOW means in other words.
I've never seen an adapter like you're looking for. You might either have to have one made or swap the guts of your C6 to one with the smaller BH bolt pattern. I looked at the Advance Adapters website and they don't make an application for that.

I know you're trying to save some trouble by using an engine you already have, but if you own both motors and know about them, you know the cleveland is a poor engine for a 4x4 unless you'r just gonna cruise up and down the street in it. Those Clevelands didn't begin to make power until they were about 4000 to 7000 rpm which is not something that goes well with 4 wheeling. Just my two cents
