What are the rules of asking for someone to run a car fax?
I'm looking at an '05 F350 Diesel Lariet and I want to see if it's legit before i drive 200 miles.

You should also be asking for a FORD Oasis Report. That gives the warranty and TSB history of the truck that was performed at the dealership. You can get the Oasis report from your local friendly FORD dealer service department...or sometimes FTE folks can run it for you too.

As biz4two said, be sure to get an OASIS report as well. If you scroll down the main forum page to the 6.0 forum, there is a link at the top for OASIS requests in a sticky thread. Post the VIN there, someone will get back to you usually within a day or two.
