Just getting started on a long project. Looking for running boards and bed cils for a 1956 F-250 long box. LMC out of Kansas has many parts but only running boards and bed parts for a short box. Any easy anwers? Dads56

I think I recently saw that MID FIFTY's in Golden Valley, AZ was advertising running boards in extended lengths. I tried to refinish my 56 F100 running boards, but my painter told me it would be cheaper for me to buy new ones then for him to finish prep them for paint. When I go out to the shop to check the heat, I will look for the Mid Fifty stuff. Where in MN are you located?

Located 2 hours South West of twin cities near Redwood Falls MN. My running boards are beyond repair as well. Appreciate any advise. Owen

I have an ad from Mid Fifty that reads, "Steel Long Bed Running Boards, Smoothies. Smoothy style only available at this time. Very well made. Part number 0307 at $295 each. Special pair at $500 with oversize shipping, additional $10 each." Their shipping is 10% so the total shipping would be $70. If you don't like the smooth upper surface finish, you might try waiting a year to so to see if they are able to tool up the stock upper surface. Depends on where you are in the project. A couple of 2"x10"x8' pieces of lumber might suffice for a while. Have you asked about long bed running boards on the 48-60 truck forum on this web site? Mid Fifty 1-800-252-1956.
Joe.
