Looking for a Fan - F-900 534

I have a 1976 Pierce firetruch sitting on an F-900 chassis. I need a fan for it - I have been looking for 2 years. Hoping someone can help me out so I can run my engine for longer than 15 minutes at a time.

Have you considered an electric fan?

Two if necessary.

Welcome to FTE

On one of the blades is a stamped Ford ID number...something like: DOHA-AA.

Post the ID number you find...I'll see what the parts catalog lists.

Can't find an ID number? Is the fan missing?

Post the first 5 digits of your trucks VIN number (it should be on the registration).

From that info, I can figure out the correct fan part number. And...maybe find you a new one.

parts info

I tried e-mailing, but I don't have those privileges yet...

There are two numbers on the fan:
top : ED D3HA HB
bottom : 76 A15? 1 The A in this number is a guess. The blade is pretty rusty and pitted.

The first numbers on the VIN on my registration are C90LVCnnnnn

I am also looking for a D3HA HB five blade fan for a 1977 Ford C900 Custon Cab. C90LV027348 NumberDummy, do you remember if you ever found a fan for the original post person? Thanks

Fan

No, I never found one, and I gave the truck away about a year ago.

Thanks for the reply ceprn. The fan came loose from the hub and would spin freely on it, and of course did damage the radiator some. Thankfully it does not leak. I am going to try to just weld the fan to the hub to get by. We will be replacing the Pierce pumper in a couple of years anyway.

That is exactly what mine did, and I could never find a replacement. I'd suggest one of those ?build a fan" places where you can get blades, spacers, etc and make one to your own needs. Which is what I should have done, but did not.
