Hey guys. I have straight piped my 89 f250 4x4 351w about 2 weeks ago. I have put around 100 miles on it since the straight pipe. When I say straight pipe I mean no kitty by the way. I am getting ready to go on a 533 miles road trip up to Indy. I have flowmaster 40's I can throw on it. My question is should I throw those back on to keep some "backpressure" on it. It has run fine so far but worse gas mileage. Thanks for all the answers.
Oh and by the way... I have been through PURE HELL! I had the lock actuator on my ingniton go out and had to have that replaced. (250$ to rebuild the column) Finally paid for that tonight and got there and the brake line had been snapped from the tow truck guy strapping it down wrong!!!!!! AHH!!!!
