Power Windows and Locks

I have a 2005 F-150 XL I use in my lawn maintenance business. It has manual windows and locks. I didn't even think they made those anymore but I bought it used and it was perfect since my employees were going to be the primary drivers. Well, I now have the truck for sale and a good friend of mine wants it really bad. He's always liked the truck and I've taken very good care of it.

The only problem is the manual locks and windows. If it had power locks and windows, he'd be at the bank tomorrow getting the money. But they've really got him bummed out and I can't blame him. Tomorrow he's going to call a few places and see if someone can install power windows and locks.

Has anyone heard of this being done before? Obviously the motors would have to be installed and the switches but I'm not sure what else. I hope Ford makes all the doors the same inside so retro fitting them to power may not be too bad. But at the same time, I can't see paying a rediculous amount for this with all the other used F-150s out there.

Anyone out there have any idea how much, if it even can be done at all? Thanks

Before I bought my Ford, I had a 2005 Dodge Ram and it had manual windows and locks. I had remote power locks installed for $150 that also had an alarm. Didn't care for the alarm just wanted the power locks. AS for the windows, I got a quote to do both doors (it was a regular cab) for $600. I never put the power windows in, thought that was a little steep.

The best bet IMO is to go to your local custom truck shop and get a quote from them. I know it is possible to get both done, but don't know what it is worth to you. I would expect it to be close to $800+ to get it done.
