Power Windows and Locks
The only problem is the manual locks and windows. If it had power locks and windows, he'd be at the bank tomorrow getting the money. But they've really got him bummed out and I can't blame him. Tomorrow he's going to call a few places and see if someone can install power windows and locks.
Has anyone heard of this being done before? Obviously the motors would have to be installed and the switches but I'm not sure what else. I hope Ford makes all the doors the same inside so retro fitting them to power may not be too bad. But at the same time, I can't see paying a rediculous amount for this with all the other used F-150s out there.
Anyone out there have any idea how much, if it even can be done at all? Thanks
The best bet IMO is to go to your local custom truck shop and get a quote from them. I know it is possible to get both done, but don't know what it is worth to you. I would expect it to be close to $800+ to get it done.

I did it myself for $300 for both windows and pwr and keyless entry doorlocks... the A-1 Electric window kit is a direct bolt-in (even re-uses factory hardware). I just went a step further and ordered the factory "loaded" doorpanels (and switches) for the factory switch openings (not incl. w/the $300 price).
