After seeing your duty stations on the registry, I was kind of thinking you were a fellow airdale! I was an AMS on A-7E's out at NAS Lemoore from 85-89. Did some time on the George Washington in the reserves. I was on her before she was commissioned at Newport News. Lovely town, that Newport News. They wouldn't let us off the pier unless we were in groups of three!

 

That's weird! What was their reasoning for that? I got out in '75 and have been selling/servicing medical (occupational health) instrumentation since. Well, up till Jan 01 of last year..... Spend a lot of time in the Tidewater area of Virginia with that. Traveled all over MD - Va DC
