Good....at least there's someone out there listening. Shaun, I think it's now time for us to wait for a message from Tractor Boy and give him a chance. He IS the one that tried his heart out for almost TWO YEARS to try to get people together to start this. If we see the need to change, so be it, but let's do OUR way, OK?

 

Bud I agree 100 percent. This could also just be growing pains. We will just have to play it by ear.

 

First off, I want to say that I was not trying to **** anyone off and I thought this was for the good of the Chapter. TB,I'm not trying to take over anything, I just wish to help out. As far as the election stuff is concerned, I don't care who does what as long as we get to go to meetings and stuff.

 

I don't wish to be a fly in the ointment, I want to see us grow and flourish, I like you guys and I wish to continue being a member, but not at the expense of voicing an opinion. We all have should have a say in what we can do to make the chapter all it can be and show these other guys that we are united and standing tall, and be proud of what we can do to make it a great chapter. I do not wish to be elected to anything and all I want to do is help out in any way I can .

 

I'm not trying to step on anyones toes but am trying it increase our numbers and people. I have even as people that I see if they would consider joining the chapter. As I do work with people who do have fords.

 

I agree with a lot said here and yes we do have to have a sit
down face to face now to straighten things out.

The problem with email is that you can't tell the tone of what
is said by email.

I for one have no quarrels with anything TB has done and have
no problem with him staying just where he is if he wants to or
if he is ready to pass the gauntlet then fine have
an election and have him say so and initiate it.

How would you feel if you were off line and came back to see a
thread about electing someone new to a my position.
I myself might be a little offended not knowing what
if anything I had done wrong especially if I were the one that
initiated the whole thing.

Seems now we have to have a meeting and real soon here
for damage control.
It's early so does any of this make any sense to anyone else?
I guess in short what I'm trying to say is, leave TB where he is.

Who has what other official titles?
Who is the official chief cook and bottle washer?
Isn't it all of our jobs as members to recruit new people and
weren't we ALL just asked for ideas on places to go and
things to do?
