I installed the Stiletto 2 a few days ago and its altogether a better unit than the 100 it replaced. The sound quality is as good as any other sat radio I have heard without direct wiring. The vehicle dock is different and the unit itself is black now rather than white and a bit smaller. This one only has one battery whereas the 100 had two. It has a full headset with antenna for portable sat radio listening and earbuds for listening to recorded music as a portable device just like the 100. The big headset is improved. The 2 also has an expandable memory slot. Just my little update on what I have found.
I spent quite a bit of time on that good old #3 highway. We used to haul potash into Washington then haul fertilizer out of Trail, either home, into Alberta, or back south into Washington or Oregon. Most of the time your stretch was empty miles. If we unloaded anywhere central it was back up north of Spokane and if it were anywhere just south of Vancouver (Mt Vernon, Linden, etc) we would blast out empty. Somtimes we ended up hauling feed into the mills just east of Vancouver and the odd time pick up screenings at one of the grain company ship loading terminals.
I was mostly into tunes too. But somedays I listen to a whole lot of radio, and I need to change it up. One interesting talk type channel I sometimes tune into is the court cannel, 110 I think.
I mainly listen to 63, especially weekends and weekday afternoons. even if you dont like country, listen to outlaw when mojo nixon is on (1-500pm pacific time) that man is hilarious. I tune into some of the classic rock stations some times, mainly hair nation (23) or the vault. If im sitting somewhere for a while Ill put on blue collar (103)
