Sir, can you tell me the part numbers for the transmission shifter indicator and pointer for my 66 F-100 with 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission? All of the parts are missing on column so, any help would be appreiciated. Thanks, Cliff

C5TZ-7B033-A .. Dial, Transmission Control Selector Lever.
As original, the pointer was made as part of the shift collar.
But, if all you now have is just a slot (where the pointer could slide into), the collar has been replaced (by Ford) with a later style.
First, Ford replaced the original part number with C9TZ-7228-A, this collar was essentially the same as before.
Later, Ford replaced C9TZ-7228-A with D5TZ-7228-A, and in the box with the collar was a separate plastic pointer that slid into that slot.
D3TZ-7A110-A .. Pointer
I really had to put the thinking cap on for this Q.
The replacement D5TZ-7228-A part number is not listed in the 1964/72 parts catalog.
Where did I find it?
I dawned on me that...1966/72 Broncos used the same shift collar the trucks did. The car parts catalog (where Bronco's are listed till 1980) shows the updated p/n.
btw: The collar is still available from Ford, the pointer and dial are not.
Thanks Bill ! I couldnt figure out why all of the aftermarket catalogs only listed these parts up to 63 and after 67 with nothing in between. I will call Green Sales today.
