well here it goes...Im new to computers & not much of a mechanic. However, I hope with some time , I ll learn more about both. I ve got a really clean 87 Bronco 5.0 , Hedman headers, Flowmaster exhaust, K&N filter, Tornados in intake tubes & more to come, as budget allows. So I look forward to using this site and the advise of all you FTEs!!!
Hi bronk n blue, welcome to the Ford Barn!
Congrats on the extra clean 87 Bronco, they`re tough to find in that condition any more. Those are some neat mods, it must be a pleasure to drive.

Thanx 4 the welcome Fomoko1! That's quite a collection U have. I hope this site will help me answer some questions I have about upgrades 2 my bronc. Like, have I wasted my time & money on intake & exhaust mods without installing a mass air unit?
I have a 87 Bronco 5.0 that the trans went out on, due to, I think its called a kick down cable going from throtle body to trans linkage broke. I also have a totaled out 90 Bronco that I use for parts, including, a professionly rebuilt trans with about 7k on it. When I drove the 90 (about 3 yrs ago) I didnt notice any shifting problems at all. But now that I have the trans from the 90 in my 87 (did swap myself) it doesnt want to down shift automaticly from OD to D when coming to a stop. I can shift from OD to D myself, and it does just fine. Is this something I should be worried about? And if so, what steps should I take? THANX FTEs for any info!!!
