it sucks!!!! i am halfway through with my 89 swap. meaning i have the donor stripped, once the weather breaks i get continue. start hosing everything with pb blaster now. better have a few good strong friends, the cab and box are heavy!!!!! it isnt really hard just very time consuming and involved. good luck. Dan
I use urethane body bushing kits such as Prothane, and replace the metal hardware with pipe and thick washers (cut the pipe that goes thru the bushings if needed to adjust cab height).
If your frame ears are rusted, they swap too. Drill the rivets then chop 'em off with a chisel. My chisels ALL get steel or rebar handles welded to them to save my fingers.
I do it all solo. Boards, jacks, come-alongs and pipes can move stuff quite nicely.
Dremel tools with the fiber-reinforced cutoff wheels can cut cab bolts in tight spaces if you are patient.
