oil pan...what all will fit?

He is aware that to change the oil pan you need to pull the engine a good 12-16" or cut the cross member and weld back on (this is not a good idea although many people will say its fine, it compromises the structural integrity of the vehicle especially when towing or pulling)
I know from 1999 to 2002/"2003" the engine was changed - The same 7.3 was used but many upgrades were made - i would not think a 96' would fit but i could be wrong. We will see what others have to say. A good fix is to sand it down, clean it up very well and use jb weld on problem areas. i have done this to mine and it hasnt leaked since. Its alot easier then pulling the engine
