Torque for lug nuts?
What is the correct torque and socket size for the lug nuts on the 2005 Ford F-150 truck? Is it around 90 LBF*FT and socket size 21 mm ? I do not want to warp the roters from under torqueing. Last summer I had a flat and I was not sure about the torque value and just fastened the lugs nuts without knowing the torque. I hope the rotor is not warped. Next time I get a flat it would be nice to know the torque value.

I am going to buy the Precision Instruments split beam torque wrench 40 to 250 LBF*FT. This design has the advantage that you do not have to reset the torque wrench to the lowest value after using. It is very important when using the spring mechanism click torque wrenches to reset to the lowest value after use otherwise the spring loses its shape after time and the wrench suffers accuracy loss. When you lend your wrenches out to other people they do not always reset it and it is easy to forget.
