48 F-6 COE car hauler

Hey guys, new member here. I see a lot of guys are interested in the coe trucks, so I thought I would post a photo of mine. I am unable to attach photos since I just registered, but here is a link that will take you to it on another site. Nice site everyone. http://www.mooracing.com/images/48_F...COE_Hauler.jpg

Welcome to the board!! What a great truck! that thing is amazing.

We have a fairly large contingency of large truck guys here on the board, we even have one member who has a whole stable of COE's in a variety of great colors (do a search for tomoto - https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...iveways-3.html)

Make yourself at home, this is a very friendly place full of amazing folks!
Bobby

I figured I would meet some guys on here that I have spoken to in person before at some of the shows, or maybe someone had seen me somewhere. I am sure I will remember some of the trucks I see on here that I too have seen at shows. I just found this site and have just started looking around here. Thanks for the warm welcome

You can insert images as long as they're posted somewhere on the internet, you just can't attach them to your post unless you're a paid member. To attach means to upload directly from your computer, as long as you have a URL of the image use that to post. Go back to the main page and look at the subject toward the top for instructions.

Oh yeah, welcome aboard and nice truck.

Tomoto, I see in your gallery that both of those trucks were yours now. I also have another coe just like the one I am driving, but I just have it for parts for it in case I wreck it(knock on wood).

Scott - I have a couple pictures o your truck that i found on in the internet from several months ago. It is great that you found us. Now i can ask lots of questions... Like what is the chassis, drive train etc. give us some details.

And I am suprised someone didn't mention this but ... create a gallery and post pics. Welcome on board frank

The coe body is on Dodge(sorry if that offends anyone on this site) 1 ton dually chssis. I bought a running and driving Dodge dually with the Cummins engine and stripped it down to the bre frame. i lengthened the frame 9 feet to allow for the sleeper and hauler bed, then relocated the engine, transmission, and cooling to the rear behind the sleeper under the bed. The sleeper and bed are hand made. I used everything from the original Dodge truck I could to make it all modern. All of the wiring harness is from the Dodge truck..it has just been modified of course. The truck has everything a new truck would have like air conditioning, automatic transmission, power 4 wheel disc brakes, power windows, tilt, cruise, air ride, GPS, 50 gal fuel tank, exhaust brake.....you name it. It Took me 2 years to build it(3,000 hours). Anything I left out....just ask.

Scott
