This idea is not new. I watched on the Discover or Military channel one night where England or Germany (not sure which) had a few hundred airplane decoys all lined up in pretty rows during WWII. They were made of cheap thin sheets of wood. Their cover was blown (so to speak) when a windstorm came through.

I used to work on remote sensing systems designed specifically to differentiate the decoys from the real mccoys. We were quite effective.
I'm not sure why Pep Boys would have an issue with the name Futura. Do they have a product by that name? Ford used the name for a concept car they built in 1954, and again in the late 70's/early 80's for a special model of the Fairmont.
