Hello all..I drive a 1956 F100 big window, custom cab that I got 8 years ago.
It had a 327 chev. w/ 400 auto when I bought it. Over the years I have replaced solid front axel with IFS ( ultra cruise set up from Classic Performance Products) and replaced the defective 9 inch rear end with IRS (Corvette C4 w/ adjustable coil over springs).
In 2006 after replacing the tired 327 with a crate 350 Chev. ( only bolt in job)we left on "Super Tour 4" from California to F100 Supernationals in Knoxville, Tennessee.. Had a great trip, only minor heating problem, but sure was fun !!
5000 mile trip and would highly recommend it !!!
