my hood is coming loose. the front left side of the hood is no longer closes all the way down and i can move it up and down. i want to know how to adjust the rubber stopper. i tried to turn it but i didnt want to break it. is there a specific way to adjust it?
Only reason it would not go down all the way is if the hood latch had worked loose. The bumper won't make a difference if the latch isn't pulling the hood down to it.
it the rubber stopper that keeps the hood from banging against the body. there is on on each side of the hood. and the latch is fine. cause it pulls it tight on the other side
i sprayed the bolt earlier and it still didnt budge.

I would go order a new stop then. They put some locktite on these so sometimes they can be hard to break loose. Not sure why yours isnt moving at all.
Also, Is your hood sitting flush with the top of your fender?? If its sitting above your fender when your hood is closed your gonna need to bring the latch down a little bit. They do get worn out over time. Especially if you run down alot of dirt roads.
