are we talking about front or rear add a leafs? I am looking for a front one to help with the weight of the plow in the winter. I just bought a rear set and have air bags on top of that in the back.

Hey fordman I have a set of firestone air bags in my front end and they work awesome for if you have a plow I added a leaf in the back for the weight of my camper and trailer in the summer but still doesn't seem to be enough so I am contemplating air bags in the back as well this way with no load I can let the air out and have a decent ride

You guys have any links as to the right set of add-a-leafs to get for the 250. Also, how hard is install? I'm assuming it probably depends on how rusty things are.

this is where I will be getting mine once I get my bumper and winch mounted, these should fit a 250 and 350 and are meant for diesel trucks. They seem pretty straight forward and simple to install, un-bolt u-bolts, lift truck, install levelling springs, lower truck, re-install u-bolts, and ta-da!! but it is probably not as easy as it looks.

Got mine from a place in Brockton, Ma called Wood-Ward spring. They tweaked them a bit on the machine a bit to give them a little more U-shape. Cost 68 bucks.

I liked mine. On the 250 you will need an alignment after you installed them. I was just able to get camber back into spec with new camber bushings. One problem I had with my 250 was that after the leveling kit it was too level. It was still 1/2 to 3/4 lower in the front but when I would park in certain spots it looked like my truck was sagging in the rear. So of course I had to lift the rear a bit!
