Where did you mount yours?? How/did you protect it

 

There is a body support just behind the Transfer case on my 97, and my EX I mounted it there, and the filter did not hang down any further than any thing else, like the frame/ exhaust/ driveline. I will see if I can find the post.

I made a extra metal spacer and attached it to the floor bracket of the cab... see my gallery..

 

Well, i just recieved by dual bypass filter system, nice system, but I need 12" in height to install it.. Crawling around the truck, I am believing I am going to mount this on the frame, just below the fuel inlet to the gas station. I then think I am going to make a box of some sort to prtect it from tire/road debri.. I will post pictures and what not when I get my stuff together
