Would any of my fellow minions object or laugh at another minion for trailering their street driven trail rig? I am thinking of towing my big truck to Tellico instead of driving it. 350 miles round trip is = a lot of wear on a set of boggers going up the mountain with welded diffs. If you have driven a welded diff equipped truck in the mountains you know what I mean. Any objections?
That was another thing I was worried about. Only prob. is that I have to use a k-1500 chebbie to tow it with. Unless I put a trailer hitch on the mustang.
I might just start doing that. Boggers are expensive. Chebbie gets 18 mpg while towing with a ranger behind it. Towed a blown ranger the other day. Very inpressive for a chebbie.
I dont have a problem with it. When I finally make it to mud fest Im certainly not driving the 250 there. 8mpg x 500 miles = too broke to play in the mud
Theres one thing having a bad a$$ truck to go play with, and there is something totally different going broke getting it there to play with, breaking somehting, and then being stranded trying to ge it home!!! Been there done that, that's why I got the SD.
