sorry for the delay - just finished ordering the little misses flowers for Valentine's Day which is the least I can do for her after this weekend.
The project that my wife had a very large hand in starting over the weekend is this. We were at a local mall and we stopped in an electronics store as we have been talking about getting some toys. We went in just to look at what home theater systems they carried and get some pricing. On our way out we stopped and was pricing tv's and to see what they offered.
This is where my wife had a very large part..... she turned and said to asked me which one I would like, and my jaw hit the floor. We ended up leaving about an hour later and we purchased a 37" LG LCD HDTV along with a Onkyo HT-SR600 5.1 home theater system (650 total watts). I spent Sunday working on getting everything set up so that we could watch the game. It was awesome.
What George and Shaun are helping me figure out is how to hook my older VCR up. I do not have cable available and a dish would be difficult at best to get a signal so I am using a roof mounted antenna. In order to get the HD signals, I have to run the feed into the TV first (built in digital tuner) then to the VCR. Then we need to figure out how to play a tape. A possible solution maybe a DVR, but I need to do some research.
Sorry for the long explanation. lol.

Oh my day was really good for a Monday... it has been raining tonight and I just heard some thunder so I am signing off for the night.
Have a good on Chris.
