I did find some more info:

http://store.bankspower.com/Categori...3-d6a52b9c73f3

Quick-Turbo® assembly
Banks developed the Quick-Turbo in conjunction with the Holset turbocharger and Cummins Engine companies, to eliminate sluggishness "out of the hole" and produce strong acceleration. Quick-Turbo produces massive torque right from idle, achieves a higher peak faster, maintains more boost through the powerband, and doesn't over-boost. Banks' exclusive BigHead® wastegate actuator prevents "wastegate blow-open" by keeping the valve seated at higher pressures, increasing mid-range torque and top-end power. Banks corrects boost-level limits in late '99.5-2003 models with a high-boost compressor wheel, built for higher boost levels without compromising turbo performance.

Yep, it's just a Wicked Wheel, actuator, and 1.0 A/R turbine housing. You can pick up those parts for much cheaper elsewhere than Banks, and get the exact same performance and quality.

The "Banks Turbo" is not a new turbo, simply bolt on upgrades for the stock turbo. In no way can it compare to an H2E or even the TN BB for airflow and peak boost pressures.

www.puredieselpower.com has the TN BB for around $1,600 (I know 'cos I've been itching to buy one, but don't have the $$$'s yet). No doubt you can find them elsewhere - I found searching for Turbonetics BB rather than TN BB helped

many thanks guys. the reason i'm asking all the questions is i rolled my truck about six weeks ago. however, it looks like i will be able to rebuild it since the frame sustained no damage whatsoever. while i am rebuilding it i am going to try to get most of my mods done while i have the cab off.

Well, that should make it MUCH easier to do.

BTW, if you don't mind telling us, how did you roll the truck? I hope that you are alright.

Not to hijack this thread but, I did a WW last thursday, and the housing said 1.0 A/R on it. My question is: Is this a stock housing ?

FYI - Banks around here is a bad word. Over priced and arrogant.
