OT: What's on YOUR Super Bowl menu?

Maybe not so far off topic. Everyone knows that big bad diesels, football and great food go together perfectly.

Just wondering what everyone is preparing for the big game tonight. Me, I'm not a huge football fan but I do love to watch the playoffs and of course the Super Bowl and I also love to cook and eat so today's a good excuse for me to go all out.

On today's menu:

Outlaw's Famous Hickory Smoked Baby Back Ribs - 2 racks
Smoked Boudain Sausage
Outlaw's Famous Macaroni Salad
Loooziana Jambalaya
Outlaw's Famous Beer Brats
Outlaw's Famous Lil Smokies

So, post 'em up, what else is on the FTE menu?

Now Scott, you did this to me on Thanksgiving I believe ...are there any houses on acreage near you for sale? Have you ever thought about adopting an older gentleman to drink beer and eat food with? Have you ever thought about moving to Nevada or New Mexico???

Neal.....Yeah, we'd adopt you. You could be the official "Beer Cooler Tech & Pit Boss". As for moving to Nevada, we have actually talked about doing just that once I retire. You never know, I might end up being your neighbor someday.

Pat.....cheesecake, Love me some cheesecake. I just remembered, I forgot dessert!

Lizzie....pulled pork sammiches. That's some good eatin' right there. Did you use a Boston Butt or something else? Are you putting cole slaw on top of them or no?

Ron.....I do wish that we all lived closer or at the very least could plan a giant BBQ somewhere.

Pat...instead of eating all of this I should be out doing something too but Mama said I could slide off of my diet for one day. Tomorrow it's back to the diet though. It's all good, I've lost 8 pounds in the last two weeks on it.

Joe....bring it on bro! I am right off of I-45, exactly 192 miles from Big D.

Thanks, Pat. I owe it all to Susan as she has really helped me with choosing the right stuff to eat and sticking with it. It's amazing how much better I feel with just 8 pounds off. Hopefully I won't gain it all back today.

It's something they do in the Carolinas and Kansas City. You don't see it too much in Texas but it is really tasty.

Yes it is, but you have to have a good slaw to start with.

Pizza and Popcorn are a bit salty, and may make you thirsty. You should consider a nice, cold, frosty, beverage on your menu!!!
