Hi KVFRIDER, I have installed The Edge Evo in my 07 F150 XLT and one of the parameters I chose to display is the Tranny Temp. It is always nice to know the real time temp so that I know it is fully warm up and ready to do heavy towing. More important is when to backoff when it is getting too hot. I am in Surrey BC and certainly not as cold as your area.

Hi Kvfrider,

Go to internet and type "Edge Evo" in the search field. It will pop up. I purchased mine from www. autoanything.com back in August, 2007. I choose coolant temp, trany temp, instant MPG and voltage for the display. What color is your interior?

cold is cold

c'mon boys wind chill does not effect non-organic material. If it is -35 it is cold but it does not matter what the wind is doing. Still any thing below -20C
is pretty darn cold man or machine! Yes my 05 F150 steering pump whines like my 79 Zephyr did but at least it starts!!

That's not quite true. It only makes no difference once they are fully cold. -35 and dead calm vs -35 with a stiff wind, materials will loose heat faster in the wind.

Yrs ago I lived in WI, and on some of those cold morn's, I would be late for work, jump in the 'cuda and drive 6 blocks to work with no oil pressure. tires froze to the ground, doors froze shut, gas line freeze, hard ice on all of the windows, no heat for 10 miles, and now I complain about the Vegas heat every summer. Can't win for losing, must be some middle ground somewhere?

lowest i've seen yet was -26F/-32C. ran fine, though the second day I didn't go anywhere, 3rd day the battery died. as soon as I hooked it up to a battery charger, it cranked right up and started... i guess my battery is on it's way out.
