Hmmm.....that truck looks more and more like one of my trucks every day

I might still have the factory chrome rear bumper off the Bronco out there some place. Remind me one weekend and I'll go look for it.

Thanks Scott, I will make sure you don't forget. I saw a pic of that truck I am getting and it is an 80's model. Can't really use anything off of it but I told the guy I would still take it from him. I have a buddy that wants a project truck, the only down fall is it has no title.

I would love to get the truck and the engine as soon as I can. Money for gas is the problem.

Well I got a new battery for the truck and tried to start it. I think I messed up the carb cause I have gas everywhere. I am going to order a new rebuild kit, I think I got the wrong one last time. One step forward two steps back!

Maybe your float is stuck tap on the top of the carb. You could have the float level wrong also.

Well it is only $14 for a new kit. I am going to buy a new kit and rebuild it again, maybe this time I will have someone who knows what they are doing with me. But for now I will try to tap on it today after work.....would a 3lb hammer work??? LOL

Years ago I bought a carb kit for the holley 2300 that was originally on my truck.. Got it from Autozone, cheap and worked great until the truck sat up..

Before i put the pro-jection on it, I got a kit from Napa and rebuilt the carb.

It bubbled and puked all over itself!!

Not sure if maybe I missed something that day, but I've rebuilt carbs before, just take your time and have plenty of light..

Just wanted to let you all know that Mater is up and running!!! I have to swap out the starter selenoid cause it won't shut off till you tap on it. It is a little smokey but sounds good! Not I just have to get the brakes done. I have a guy buying one of my R/C buggies so there is my brake money and then some!!
