Fired up the 89 Lincoln today!

Since the brakes went south on the 86 Mercury I fired it up, shoveled the snow from in front of the garage and drove it out.
It`ll be a pleasure to drive this one, it`s pretty mint but I`ll still miss the Merc.

It`ll be nice to drive.
Now I`d like to give it a good polish, once the weather warms abit it`ll be much easier to heat the shop.

Not quite sure what to do about the Mercury....I`ll miss it so who knows?
The Lincoln is very nice too with less kms and no rust.

The worst thing aobut the Mercury is the body is getting some rust on it.
It`ll probably get pulled off the road if I meet up with the wrong policeman.
Still hate to give it up though.....
We`ll see, a brake booster or hose and a heater motor isn`t all that expensive or hard to do.

I guess you could always yank the motor and tranny and use it in one of your projects, if you needed a drivetrain.

I`ve got the 86 Mustang 5.0, 76 F350-390 and a 69-351 4V windsor laying around, I`m not real short of motors yet.

Almost sounds like you have to get a few more projects for all those motors lol.

First finish the 53 & 56 M100`s and then maybe look restoring the 67 Fairlane GT if the offer on it falls through.
