under coating

I have a 2001 f250 4x4 and i was wondering if i should under coat the body. I really want to pervent the rust and if i do it should i use that spray undercaoting tar or just use spray paint?

I assume you mean the frame? I would just use a good rust preventive spray paint. I have always been told the undercoating holds moisture and creates more problems that you can't see. Just my .02.
