Roush spoiler & tonneau covers

Anyone know if the Roush spoiler will work with any tonneau covers? I think their website does say it works with the Ford OEM coer but I'm wondering about aftermarket - specifically my BakFlip.

As you can see in the photo the BakFlip sits atop the leading edge of the top of the tailgate. I'm wondering if the Roush Spoiler when installed raises the height of this area of the tailgate significantly? I've looked at the online install instructions and it doesn't apear so but I'd hate to drop those bucks only to find it won't work.

That's my truck with a spoiler and a Retrax. Its a really good look. On your tonneau cover where its resting on the bed cap, measure how much is laying on it and I'll check mine out to see if it will fit. From the look of it, I think you can do it.

Ken:
The rubber seal lips over the tailgate by 5/8 of an inch. At each corner where you see that little hump in the seal it's closer to 3/4 of an inch but what's an 1/8 of an inch? Appreciate the help.

Nope. I found them on ebay. Real cheap. There's a guy on there that sells all types. I just went online and below is a link to some F150 one's he's selling. You could use that listing to send him an email and ask about some Lariat ones.

I found all kinds of stuff there and on the web. Found another ebay who was selling the script 'Lariat' in a lightweight patch. I bought 4 brown ones and 4 gray ones from him. for about $1 a pair. I'm having a moon roof put in this Spring and plan to ask the shop (which also does custom auto leather upholstery) if they could sew them into my seat backs. Depending on cost it's another cool way to trick my Lariat.

Last night I found a web site that sells license plats and found a mirrored Ford plate for my front end. It has the blue oval logal and below it the script Lariat logo. Links available if anyone interested.

The sill strips stick on with 3M tape. They're aluminum and look great. Here's the item number 310018472502 and link to one of his current ebay motors auctions.

Thanks, I've purchased quite a few items from ebay for my truck as well, chrome handle covers, tail lights, 06 radio, stock dvd player. I was looking at stuff last night, but didn't see the sill plates. I'll check them out know...

It will fit fine The inner edge of the spoiler actually sticks out less than the stock tailgate plastic cap by about 1/4 in.. So it will fit, but you are probably going to need to get about 1/4 of weather-stripping to run along the edge of the spoiler, or on the rubber seal, so you can get a good watertight seal.
