We just brought in a new line, its a company called CARR. They have a lot of cool alternatives to side bars and hitch steps and stuff like that. They also offer a SD only tool box step. It mounts right where the side of your cross over tool box would be. Its just a little step that spins under the truck when not in use. I saw it and just though i would share with you guys. They also have tow hook steps to, now I know a lot of people don't like to remove the tow hooks. But these steps mount on to them so the hooks are still there. Any way take a look at the new stuff.
I think the box is what makes it a pickup. Without the box, it's just a chassis.
I'm keeping an eye on the step that Ford is going to offer on the '09 F150. I like the way it operates and I'm sure it will migrate onto the Superdutys. That's something I would probably retro-fit.
The tow hook steps look really handy. I stand on the hook already, unless I'm wearing heavy boots which are too thick to slip under the bumper.
