look between #2 main and #2#6 rod flat surface on throw can see good with pan off

 

Hows it goin? I recently purchased a 460 to put into a 76 Ranchero GT but i dont know anything about the motor. So i was reading your previous posts and thought you might be able to help. The cast number i found on the block is on the passenger side of the engine on the rear under the exhaust manifold, runs lengthwise on the block, and reads as follows: D1VE-6015-A2. Anything you can tell me about the year or the car it came out of would be VERY helpful.
